My name is Yen Japney. I started www.billionairebeauties.com online store about 3 years ago.

How I overcame massive challenges and found my passion in beauty and makeup.

“Why I love contacts?”
Well, I’ve worn color contacts for probably most of my days. It was always something I found that made me feel unique.

What made me come to the idea was I have been selling Solotica for a couple of years and we always pay attention to our customer’s needs, and we noticed a lot of customers were looking for something a bit darker than the Solotica colors.

They loved the natural look but they ask if it could be a shade or 2 darker, which then inspired me to create Otaku lens.

Since November 2017 we started off with 8 colors. And now we expanded to 25+ colors to global community.

“Inspiration”
My mum was a single mother and she loved makeup and beauty and instilled in me to look beautiful inside and out. Not just one or the other, that we can have both.

“Passion”
I'm super passionate and I still get hands on with my company. I personally review each color lens myself and make videos of them.

“Connecting with our community”
With over 300k contact lovers on all things to do with the contact lens. I get excited when I hear people are excited about Otaku lens just as I am, to me that is fulfilling. It’s really important for me to share my experiences and knowledge with my community - like how to use and put on Otaku lens.

“Quality”
Why I chose it? Trip Hong Kong convention back fourth - CE, FDA, hours and month and month of testing, trial and error and I don't want to sell something I didn't believe in or wouldn't wear myself.

“Challenges”
I never traveled by myself. It was something I had to overcome. I had a vision, to be a world renowned colour contact lens company.

“Why contact lens?”
I was born with brown eyes and always love the exotic look of a mix nationality. Curious mysterious give distinct unique look as been asian background. Super passionate my mum was very into makeup and beauty. And me being into business.
